My card is made with Marci with Bunny a perfect stamp for Easter but also for Valentine's ofcourse, just add a matching sentiment and voila! I've colored Marci with Copic Sketches, for the Flowers G00 Skin E50, E51, E52 Dress C7, C5, C3 Leaves YG95, G99, Hair and the Bunny E11, E13, E27

For the inside of the card I used the same Tag You're It Die-namics I used on the front of the card and a sweet La-La Land Crafts Sentiment from Cupid Marci.

La La Land-Crafts, Love is in the Air

Hi and goodmorning! It's Friday so time for another Inspiration Friday at La La Land-Crafts. This weeks it's Love is in the Air. With Valentine's Day on the way it's the perfect time to make a lovely card for a special husband, friend, sis, brother, mum... you name it;-) I decided to stamp Heart Balloon Marci on DCP paper with Memento Black Ink and colored her with Copic Sketches Skin E50, E51, E53 Hair E11, E13, E27 Dress/Heart R20, R21 Shoes C3, C5, C7. I cut the Layered Heart Die-namics out of some left over jute I had. That went absolutely great running it through my Big Shot, and I love the effect of the fabric texture on the card! I gave her real twine on her balloon for a nice dimensional look.

Blog Hop, My Favorite Things Stamps and Scor-Pal

Today My Favorite Things Stamps have hooked up with Scor-Pal for a little blog hop of inspiration. The Scor-Pal is an amazing and versatile scoring tool that simplifies paper folding for such crafts as cardmaking and scrapbooking. If you are starting cardmaking I can strongly recommend you a Scor-Pal (I am using mine with every single card I make!) your card folds look so much more nice and clean and don't forget all the fun projects you can make with this must have tool! I am sharing a little tutorial with you with how to make a gate fold card. It was one of the first projects I've made when I started to use the Scor-Pal, easy and fun!

Step 1, take your Scor-Pal (s). I use both the Buddy and the Scor-Pal (I have the older version the new one has much more grooves!) I use them both because the big one is perfect as working space and the Buddy as the place where I arrange my card on. Ofcourse it's perfect to take with you when you go on vacation or to a friend for a craft date!

Step 2, take a piece of cardstock 6 x 12 and fold on 3 and 9 inch

Step 3, fold with the Score Tool

Step 4, arrange your card on the Buddy and choose your stamps and Die-namics. I used Pure Innocence Popping By and the Oval Dainty Doily Die-namics I stamped with black Memento ink.

Step 5, cut a piece of cardstock 11 inch x 1,5 inch and a piece of 5 x 1,5 inch. Glue them together.

Step 6, fold on 6 1/8.... twice and glue together

Step 7, see if the band fits onto the card, decorate the front panels of the card with designpaper

Step 8, decorate the band, I've made it extra special by adding the Crown Border Die-namics and glue everything together. Because the MFT At the Movies Stamps and Die set fits so perfectly with this Pure Innocence girl I've decided to use these to embellish the card. PI is colored with Copic Sketches.

Step 9, decorate the inside of the card. I always love to repeat the stamp which I also used on the front of a card.

Done!

La La Land-Crafts, Favorite Things

Hi and goodmorning! It's Friday so time for another Inspiration Friday at La La Land-Crafts. This weeks it's all about our Favorite Things. Just use your favorite things on a card, well at first sight it doesn't seem hard but... I have looots of Favorite Things that I like to use on cards:-) So choices, choices...I decided to choose Baking Marci because I love baking and my Favorite Designpaper at the moment Maja Design. It fits Baking Marci so well with all the apples on the background. And ofcourse I had to use my all time favorite Die-namics. I cut out the tag with the Tag You're It Die-namics and the beautiful You Move Me label. Most of the time I use white cardstock and Kraft as base for my card that's because it fits with all patterned papers. I have tons of colored cardstock I bought over the last couple of years but seem never ever have the color in my stock that fit's with the desingpaper I use on cards (am I weird?) So I am using the colored cardstock for scrapbooking now.More favorite things: brads, Copic Sketches! twine and paperflowers.

MFT January Pure Innocence Vip Kit!

For my first card I've used PI Violin Girl, she's colored with Copics and cut out by hand. I've used the fun Monarch Border on the side of the card and curled it up a bit for more dimension.

For the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Classic Kits Sentiments Mini onto the Textile Rectangle Frame Die-namics

And for the backside I used a couple of scraps and again the Textile Rectangle Frame Die-namics

For my second card I've stamped PI Blowing Bubbles onto DCP cardstock with black Memento. Paperpieced her clothes and colored with Copic Sketches. The Monarch Border pops out under the patterned paper.

For the inside I stamped PI Blowing Bubbles again but now with Brown Archival and loooots of bubbles on Kraft. The sentiment is from the Classic Kits Sentiments Mini.

For the backside again the Tag You're It Die-namics and fun little scraps.

La-La Land Crafts, Make A Scene

It's s time for La-La Land Crafts Inspirational Friday. This week our card theme is "Make A Scene". I used Mod Marci and she is sitting on a suitcase from the Suitcase set. I first stamped and colored the suitcase, cut out by hand and placed on the designed card, glued with 3D Kit. Then I took Mod Marci, stamped her with Memento Black and colored her with Copic Sketches. Copic colors I've used are; Hat and Suitcase C3, C5, C7, C9 Skin E50, E51, E52 Hair E11, E13, E25 Guitar YG91, YG95 and Shirt R02, R05. I really like how her hair turned out, I am learning so much from the La-La Land Craft girls! The sentiment is stamped on a Say What? Die cut from MFT

I kept the inside quite simple. Stamped the suitcase with brown Archival ans the cute round poststamp and sentiments were also stamped with brown ink. Now there's more than enough room to write down a sweet message.

For the backside again the personalized stamp (Bunny Zoe's) and some left over scraps from the front of the card.

MFT January Creative Challenge

"Hi everyone, and welcome to this month's My Favorite Thing's Creative Challenge! Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature where we challenge our Design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month it's "Masculine Cards" Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have creative solutions for you today!"

I know most of us cardmakers are a bit afraid to make masculine cards, or cards for men, boys. Well I am no exception lol. I am always struggling a bit about the does and dont's. Personally I would never use paperflowers on a boys card anymore but I've seen some pretty awesome cards from cardmakers out there who did a great job with them. But like I said it's a personal thing;-) I love to use rough materials, stars, buttons, twine, cardboard, stapled and colors like blue, brown, red for a masculine card. For this card I've used designpaper from October Afternoon, you see a little bit of a "map" on the background. The card is for my dad who travels a lot with my mum back and forward to Sweden, where they live for a couple of months each year:-) The sentiment is stamped on the Tag You're It and the Dad letters are from the By The Letters Die-namics.

For the inside the sentiment is stamped on the Just The Ticket Die-namics with Brown Archival Ink.

And for the back I've used my personal stamp together with scraps and staples. Hope my Dad love my card when he find this in his mailbox in Sweden:)

Bildmalarna Challenge, Anything Goes

Goedemorgen allemaal, kinderen weer naar school en het ritme zit er meteen weer in. Op tijd opstaan, lunchtrommeltjes maken en snel aan het HH! Maar eerst even tijd voor een kaartje;-) Gemaakt met Bildmalarna's Mimosa-Camera en ze doet mee aan de "Anything Goes" Challenge op het Bildmalarna Challenge Blog. Ik heb haar gecombineerd met diverse Die-namics. De tag is is gestanst met de Tag You're It Die-namics met ribbelkarton van een oude verpakking. De tekst is gestempeld op de Clearly Sentimental Label. Mimosa is gekleurd met Copic Sketches en wat Stickles, Stardust. De vlinder heb ik twee maal uit desingpapier gestanst met de Butterfly Die-namics, het middenstuk vastgelijmt de velugeltjes een beetje omgebogen voor een dimensionaal effect. Wat touw erom gebonden en bovenaan vastgeknoopt zodat een soort en met van voelsprietjes ontstaan.

Voor de binnenkant van de kaart heb ik wederom de Tag You're It Die-namics gebruikt en Mimosa met bruine inkt gestempeld evenals de tekst.

De achterkant is gemaakt met scraps en een personalized stempel en was een kadootje van Lisbet (Scrapmagasinet), je kunt soortgelijken vinden bij Bunny Zoe's.

Hi and goodmorning, I am baaaack as Guest Designer for La-La Land Crafts. When Irina asked me to join in again I couldn't resist and ofcourse said YES! Thanks so much Irina for having me for another term:-) Now it's s time for La-La Land Crafts Inspirational Friday. This week our theme is Pink, Black and White. A lovely color combination for those fun Valentine cards! I used Cupid Marci and colored her with Copics for the Hair: C5, C7, C9 Skin: E50, E51, E52 Dress: R31, R35, R37 Bow/Arrow/Wings E21, E25 Leaves: G99, YG95. I added a bit Stickles Stardust on her the flowers on the hair ribbon. The sentiment is also La-La Land Crafts and included with Cupid Marci. The flowers were made with Perfect Petal Trio, I crumbled them a bit for a more dimensional/vintage look.

For the inside of the card I've used the same Layered Heart Die-namics I've used on the front of the card along with the sentiment. Just plain simple but cute inside.

Backside of the card is made with scraps and a personalized stamp. I got lots of questions last week about this stamp. You can get it at Bunny Zoe's! There are lots of different designs to choose from:-)

Always Time For Tea!

Letterlijk Time For Tea want vanmiddag ga ik met een van mijn oudste schoolvriendinnen en onze oudste dochters heerlijk Hig Tea-en bij de TuynKamer in Hoorn. We kennen elkaar al vanaf de kleuterschool, verloren elkaar soms uit het oog maar vinden elkaar altijd weer terug. Onze twee oudste meiden zijn bijna tegelijkertijd geboren en samen hebben we de eerste jaren met onze babymeiden doorgemaakt. Soms waren ze zelfs hetzelfde gekleed, so sorry girls hihi:P Ik vind het altijd gezellig om iets toepasselijk kleins mee te nemen en vandaar deze chalk mokjes gevuld met een lekkere butterschotch reep, Latté Macchiato en groene thee. Op de mok kun je schijven met een schoolkrijtje deze zit ook in het mokje.
Ik heb een kleine tag gemaakt met de Time For Tea Stamps and Die-namics set

Heel simpel, stans de Tag uit Kraft en nogmaals uit designpapier voor extra stevigheid plak dit op elkaar. Stans de kopjes driemaal uit designpapier samen met het lepeltje. Scheur een stukje effen bijpassend dp en stempel hier de tekst op met Versafine zwart. Stapel de kopjes op elkaar plak ze op. Niet wat nietjes en knoop de tag vast met Twine. Klaar!

January MFT Release, New Product Tour!

Jippieee it's finally here....Release Day at My Favorite Things Stamps. Hope you all have had a fab time this past week by visiting our blogs and being inspired with what possibilities there are with all the new stamp sets and Die-namics! We have to show you a lot of creations and a fun blog hop. You can start at Kim's blog to see the list of participating DT members.

My creation is made with á La Modes Dip Me In Chocolate. The sentiments says as you can see Chocolate = Happiness well I think it is;-) I always love a good chocolate bar, bonbons, chocolatemilk name it if there chocolate in it, it's yummie! I've colored her with Copic Sketches, cut her out by hand and glued her with 3Dkit on the card. I've used Maja designpaper to decorate the card together with a white Bazzill cardstock base and Kraft. Finished size of the card is 5,5 x 5,5 inch. The cute pink bling flower is from Kaiserkraft and was a gift.

For the inside I stamped á La Modes again with brown ink and stamped the sentiment on the Framed Greetings Die Namics

For the backside of the card I did something quite different as the last couple of days. I stamped á La Modes on the round Die of the First Place Award Ribbon Die namics and stamped my initials with the new Monogram Alphabet with brown ink on a piece of scrap paper. See a personalized back of the card...homemade;-)

January MFTeasers, Pure Innocence Paper Dolls

It's day fsix already of the January teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today we are going to show you samples with the new to be released Pure Innocence (got to love this little galls=)) Plane Amazing, Jump for Joy, Berry Sweet , Paper Dolls, I Love You This Big, PLL Fill My Heart With Joy. They will al be showing on our blogs today so grap a cup of coffee and enjoy all the samples! I used PI Paper Dolls for my card together with the new Paper Doll Die-namics they make a fab combination. I stamped PI on Tag You'r It which I cut out DCP paper and colored her with Copic Sketches. For the flower I've cut out Perfect Petal Trio, layered them together and put a fabric brad in the middle. Just crumple the flower a bit for that vintage look.

For the inside of the card I again used some scraps an cut out the Paper Doll Die-namics out of black cardstock. I like the sight of all those cute dolls holding hands *sigh*

For the backside some more scraps and the two Dolls that were left overs from the inside border of the card.

January MFTeasers, á La Modes Genie

First of all I want to wish you all a very happy and healthy 2012! May every wish you have in this new year come true =)

It's day five already of the January teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today we are going to show you samples with the new to be released á La Modes Dip Me In Chocolate and Genie. My card is made with Genie, I've stamped her with Memento black on DCP paper and colored her with Copic Sketches. I Made some shadow around her with chalk and stamped the corners with a soft brown ink. Look at the gorgeous Fringed Perinnial flowers they are from the previous MFT release and I love them! Especially since you can make them look fab dimensional!

For the inside of the card I took the Layered Heart Die-namics and cut the smaller heart out of Kraft and stamped the sentiment on it with Versafine Black.

January MFTeasers, At The Movies

Hi and goodmorning, it's day four already of the January teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today we are going to show you samples with Monogram Alphabet Stampset and At The Movies Die-namics and stampset. I really like the At The Movies Die-namics and stampset because it's such a versatile set for making fabulous gift sets! I've made a card in which I can easily slip a movie voucher for a film lover which is having his/hers birthday.

Here's a look at the inside of the card. I just cut some of the At The Movies Die-namics and stamped the sentiment with white pigment ink on black cardstock, put embossing powder on it and heated it with my heattool.

Hi and goodmorning, it's day three of the January teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today we are going to show you samples with Clearly Sentimental About Love and Pearls of Wishdom. My card is made with sentiments from the Clearly Sentimental about Love stampset, with this wonderful quote from Edward Cullen (yes THE Twilight Edward Cullen;-)) I've stamped the sentiment on one of the new Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily and also used the Layered Hearts Die-namics which fits perfect with the sentiment! The ribbon, black pearls and pins were a gift from Wendy B.

For the inside of the card I've stamped the sentiment on the beautiful Oval Decorative Doily Die-namics and used some scraps from the front of the card to decorate.

Hi and goodmorning, it's teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today we are going to show you samples with Bunch Of Hearts Flopsey. Isn't he cute holding all those hearts in his arms:) I've colored Flopsey with Copic Sketches and gave the hearts some Stickles Star Dust. I glued Flopsey on the card with 3Dkit. The big heart is a Die-namics which will be released next week, Layered Heart. The gorgeous paper and cute flower embellishments were a gift from my Secret Santa Wendy Bond. Thanks again Wendy, I have so much fun with all the awesome goodies you've send me!

For the inside of the card I stamped Flopsey and the sentiment with white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder and a heat tool.

A perfect set for a fun Valentines Card perhaps? Or a Bon Voyage card for newly weds who will take a trip to Paris? I've paperpieced the WTG, you can find a tutorial how to paperpiece HERE.

I've made my card with Maja design paper and took two of the fabulous new Die-namics Eiffel Tower ofcourse perfect to add to this card and Layered Heart, which you will be seeing a lot the next couple of days and sooo appropriate for upcoming valentines projects. The sentiment is a quote from one of my favorite actresses Audrey Hepburn so fun =) and stamped on the oval shape from the Sweet Stack Labels.

For the inside of the card I've used the Eiffel Tower and Stacked Heart Die-namics again together with the Bon Voyage sentiment.

Our Design team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature , where we challenge our design team their creative side using a specific product, theme or explore our creative spaces and share valuable organizational methods tools and shopping strategies with you. As you perhaps know I am a sucker for storage and for my embellishments I found some great solutions. I {heart} brads and collected quite a bit since I started cardmaking, I have them stored in these clear boxes.

I have four of them filled with all kinds of brads

One for the mini brads, I use them mostly and almost on every card:-)

One for charms, I don't use those much often but hey I just love the sight of them...hihi

One for special shaped brads, big brads, spiral clips, bling brads...

And one for huge brads, I use those biggies mostly for scrapbooking

Below you can find some bigger boxes, You can buy those at embroidery stores like this one.

Buttons *sigh* in all shapes and sizes. This is only a small collection, which is sort out color by color. Very handy because you don't have to look very long which color you need for your creation. I have more but they are not sorted out... yet.

Little metal embellishments, wooden spools, clothespins, cute wooden ladybugs... name it and I have it LOL I like the versatility of all those shapes

Further more I have lots (18 gosh that sounds like a lot when I write this down *iek*;-)) of those awesome Ikea boxes, in which you can put all those other big fun embellishments. Bling is for all those gorgeous bling swirls, little gem stones etc. Flowers, for all the paper flower I use most, and Bags for the paperbags, kraft bags, cellophane bags...

I stamped labels with the Typewriter Alphabet, doesn't have to be perfect. Just so you know what's in them white boxes, I think the effect with this stampset is fun!

For my first card I've stamped PI Jump for Joy colored her and cut her out by hand. I've paperpieced her dress and made a "real" jumping cord to hold for her from twine and glued it at the back of her hands with red line tape. The cute little felt flowers are made with the Rolled Scallop Flower,don't you love those scallops on them...sweet:)

For the inside I stamped a part of PI Jump for Joy with brown ink on kraft and took a couple of scraps that were left from the front of the card.

For the second card I took PI Plane Amazing stamped and colored her, paperpieced her cute oufit and cut her out by hand. The crumbled flowers are made with the Perfect Petal Trio Die-namics. The sentiment is stamped on a cut out Just the Ticket Die-namics. The fun Postage Stamp Edge border matches perfect with the First Class Friend Frame.

Again for the inside I stamped a part of PI Plane Amazing on designpaper and the sentiment on a matching tag.

Bildmalarna Challenge, In and Out

And another birthday card, this time I've made one for the new Bildmalarna Challenge "In and Out" That means you have to decorate a card both front and inside. Peace of cake for me because I always love to decorate the inside of a card too. It gives a card definitely a finishing touch:) I've used Mimosa Autumn Walk, colored her with Copic Sketches and gave her some red chalk on the cheeks. The cute Open Scallop Die-namics is cut out of the Maja Design paper.

For the inside I've stamped the same Mimosa as on the front of the card with white pigment ink on the dark designpaper, then I took white embossing powder and used my heat tool to melt it. I took some twine to put it through The Open Scallop Die-namics and made a little bow on top of it.

For the backside I stamped my personalized stamp with Memento on Kraft and glued it with some of the scraps that were left. Finished size of the card is 4,5 x 6 inch

Bildmalarna, Happy Birthday

Between all the Christmas cards a sweet birthday card with a Bildmalarna stamp which is called Together. She's colored with Copic Sketches and a bit red chalk for her cheeks. I used several Die-namics, Hearts A Plenty are cut out of corrugated cardboard. The gorgeous Fancy Flourish is made from Kraft. I always glue those kind of tiny bits with my Sakura glue pen. A perfect tool to glue small Die-namics shapes onto your card. I choose not to glue the whole swirl but to leave it a bit loose for a more dimensional look. The sentiment is stamped on the cut out the Textile Rectangle Die-namics which includes the fun stampset I've used.

The gorgeous designpaper I've used is from Papercraft Scandinavia-Christmas Paper which can easily also be used for other cards as christmas related, love that! The inside of the card is made with scraps I had over from making the front of the card.

-Backside of the card-

I personalized the backside with a personal stamp I bought a long time ago at Scrapmagasinet. A fun christmas present for yourself or your craft friend perhaps:-)? The finished card size is 6 x 6 inch.

MFT December Creative Challenge

Hi everyone, and welcome to this month's My Favorite Thing's Creative Challenge! In 2011 MFT is working harder than ever and we have come up with something you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature where we challenge our Design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month "It's A Wrap" Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have creative gift solutions for you today!

I always like to give (and receive;-)) candles and scented tea lights. They are such a perfect gift with Christmas around the corner. The little project I've made was a big hit last year on many blogs so I decided to make one again this year. It's such a nice gesture to take along with you when you visit family/ friends at Christmas or to put beside the christmas dish as a sweet gift for your guests. I've made mine with á La Modes Blue Without You which is not a specific Christmas stamp but because she is holding that big star I thought, well why not use her for this project. Just combine her with some matching sentiments and... voila a totally different look with this stamp. I {heart} versatile stamps! I colored her with Copic Sketches and paperpieced the star, you can find a tutorial about papierpiecing --->here<---
Here's the pattern, just score and fold at the striped lines. The size is in cm but you can easily covert these with for example this cm-inch converter. The size of the cardstock is 30 x 15 cm

Inside there's room for an extra tag with a personal message. I used some left overs from the front and cut out the biggest Die of the Sweet Stack Labels and stamped with black memento a sentiments from the Inspired by Christmas stampset. The Peace sentiment is stamped on one of the cut out Mini Tabs Foursome. The jute ribbon is stapled on the card in stead of using glue.

Ik ga nog vrolijk even door met kerstkaartjes maken en zie wel waar het schip strand. Persoonlijk vind ik het wel altijd het leukst om rond deze tijd met kerstkaarten bezig te zijn, je zit er helemaal in qua sfeer en in Januari ben ik er dan wel weer klaar mee. Knap dat veel mensen het hele jaar door kerstkaarten kunnen maken maar dat is niet mijn cup of tea =) Dit kerstkaartje is gemaakt met Bildmalarna's Mimosa with Stocking Cap en doet ook mee aan de Bildmalarna's Colorcombo Challenge Groen, Creme en Rood. Wow weeks fly by this December month, and so it's time for yet another and new My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch at Splitcoaststampers. I've used Hot Cocoa Cutie one of the two new á La Modes, paperpieced the mug and her boots. And stamped the sentiment on the cut out Well Worn Greetings Die-namics

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from Inspired by Christmas set and finished the sentiment with the By The Letters Die-namics

December MFT Release, New Product Tour

Jippieee it's finally here....Release Day at My Favorite Things Stamps. Hope you all have had a fab time this past week by visiting our blogs and being inspired with what possibilities there are with all the new stamp sets and Die-namics! We have to show you a lot of creations and a fun blog hop. You can start at Kim's blog to see the list of participating DT members.

My creation is made with Clearly Sentimental about Christmas which was last month's Triple Scoop stamp set.I stamped one of the sentiments on the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics with black Versafine on Kraft. I gave the card some bling for that special xmas look and added a gorgeous paperflower with holly leaves.

MFT Pre-Release Pep Rally and Die-namics Feature

Hello and goodmorning, today we are having something fun for you...it's December MFT Die Namics Feature and Pre Release Pep Rally day! All the participating My Favorite Things DT members will show you on their blogs fun tips&tricks, things you can do with the new Dies, how they work with the new sets and you will find tutorials/video's on your way hopping. So sit back, take a cup of tea/coffee and enjoy!

I've made a little gift to send with the Always Time For Tea Die-namics and Stamp set. I took a paperbag size 5"x 8" inch and folded at 3,5" inch from the bottom. Glued both sides with a piece of red lined tape and put some tea bags inside. At the top of the gift bag ,that's still open, you can make a file folder and put for example a personal invitation on it. Don't you love that dotted teapot:) and so simple to make just put a piece of designpaper on your Die-namics and roll it through your Big Shot (or other Die-cutting machine like Cuttlebug, Vagabond) I stamped a swirl also from the Always Time For Tea stampset on the teapot and the bigger one on the Clearly Sentimental Label.

This new Die-namics and stampset Always Time For Tea is perfect to send sweet gifts to friends, make invitations, send get well/feel better wishes etc. The invitation I made has also a new Die-namic on top, Mini Tab Foursome perfect to make tiny file folders!

Hi and goodmorning, it's teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today it's day six and we are going to show you samples with the newest Pure Innocence stamps; Good Fortune, last month's VIP Holly girl and Ice Princess, Heart Warmer, Cause for Celebration, Frosty&Fabulous, Precious Little Lamb Baby Lamb in the Manger. So there's a lot of eyecandy to see today at the MFT DT blogs! I choose PI Good Fortune for my card and combined her with the new Fringed Perinnial, Oval Open Scallop Doily and Game Night Spinner to create the look of a kinda umbrella on the background. PI is paperpieced and colored with Copic Sketches. I had to look up what the Domo Arigato sentiment means, it says Thank You;-)

And as a sweet reminder I show you Ice Princess and Holly girl, they were last month's VIP and will be available on release day December 6 for everyone to buy, jippie!

Hi and goodmorning, it's teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today it's day five already and we are going to show you samples with the newest á La Modes Ski Bunny and Hot Cocoa Cutie. As you perhaps know as regular visitor of my blog the á La Modes are one of my favorite stamp characters. So I couldn't resist to make creations with both of the new sets. First is a card made with Ski Bunny, doesn't she look gorgeous in her ski outfit? I combined her with Maja Design paper and cut out some Snowflakes out of felt. The sentiment is stamped on a new Die-namics, Mini Tabs Foursome! Ski Bunny is colored with Copic Sketches

My second creation is a little pouch for a sachet of instant cocoa. Hot Cocoa Cutie is colored with Copic Sketches

I paperpieced the mug to get a kinda look of the Greengate style which I love. And look at those fun big letters, they are from the new alphabet Die-namics, By The Letters also again a must have!

The sachet of cocoa is put in a glasseline bag with a piece of twill around it.

Hi and goodmorning, it's teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today it's day four already and we are going to show you samples with the ALL STAR and Always Time for Tea Die-namics and stampsets combos My card is made with the amazing Always Time for Tea die-namics and stampset. I LOVE this set, really it's so versatile if you are a tea lover. How about making a lovely invitation for a High Tea or just an afternoon tea with sweet friends. The card I've made is for a dear friend and yes she's definitely a tea lover! I cut out the cutecutecute little teapot out of Kraft paper, stamped the motive with white ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Look at that tiny teabag hangin out of the teapot...*sigh*

I combined the stampset with Maja Design paper. Making Christmas cards with sentiments only, saves a lot of time if you are in a hurry to make a bunch of xmas cards. No coloring;-) so perfect for those last minute creations!

My creation is obviously made with Fred Bear Gives Comfort;-) I've made a little pillow box and put some instant chicken soup in it for a friend who's not feeling well.

Last week I received an amazing envelope from my sweet norwegian friend Linda. I know Linda from the time I designed for Ladybug and Friends and she is such a sweet woman who certainly knows how to spoil a girl;-) Linda still designs the most amazing and gorgeous patterned papers and asked me if I want to make some cards with her paper. Seriously? Who could resist such a FAB offer! So here's my first card made with the Ladybug and Friends Christmas Quilt Collection, you can find this at Papercraft Scandinavia

I've combined the paper with a cute Bildmalarna stamp Mimosa CupCake, she's colored with Copic Sketches and Stickles.

Hi and goodmorning, it's teaser time at My Favorite Things Stamps! Today we are going to show you samples with the Who's That Girl May I Have This Dance stampset. A perfect set for a fun New Year's Card, a Birthday card for your loved one or a card for Valentines day. I know, I know xmas first but you never can start early enough to make cards ahead don't you think?
I've made my card with bright design paper and for a fun look I gave the guy a "Jeans Suit" with the paperpiecing technique. The Sky Line Border is a new Die-namics and fits perfect with this set.

MFTWSC47, Happy Holidays

Wow weeks fly by, and so it's time for yet another and new My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch at Splitcoaststampers. Again a fun sketch to make a bunch of Christmas cards. I 've stamped PI Stocking Girl and paperpieced her with desingpaper and colored with Copic Sketches. Her pyama's are popped up with Jody's foam dimensionals. I kept the card quite simple just as the sketch is. Again I made crumbled flowers just like last week:)

En nog weer een kerstkaart, zo schiet het al lekker op! Deze kaart doet ook mee aan de challenge op de Bildmalarna blog challenge 12...Glitter. De sneeuwvlok is één en al glitter plus de bloemetjes die met Stickles zijn aangezet. Het schattige Bildmalarna Mimosa meisje (Mimosa Christmas Flower) heb ik gekregen als afdrukje van San die deze stempel heeft gekocht op de Krea Doe;-) Dank je wel San! And again a xmas card, this time made with My Favorite Things Sketch number 46! The fact I love most about sketches is that you don't have to think about a lay out it's all done for you so perfect to make a bunch of xmas cards at once when you've chosen your papers and stamps. I chose Pure Innocence Christmas Caroler and by paperpiecing you save lots of time with non coloring. I only colored the face, hands and hair with Copics. The bit of shine around the candle is done with chalks.

For the inside of the card I stamped PI on kraft with brown archival and cut her out by hand.

I've made two cards with both Pure Innocence girls, ofcourse couldn't resist those sweeties. My first card is made with Holy Girl, I took a piece of cardstock 6 x12 and fold this to 6 x 6. Stamped the corners with Versamark and heat embossed with glitter embossing powder. She's paperpieced and colored with Copic Sketches. Paper I've used is Maja Design. The Holy leaves are puffed with Liquid Applique.

And look at the Ice Princess...isn't she the cutest? I had to give her lots of blue tones and ofcourse a touch of Kraft;-) Again she's paperpieced and colored with Copic Sketches.

Bildmalarna, Merry Christmas

En nog een kerstkaartje, het tempo zit er lekker in maar ik heb er dan ook nog al wat te gaan. Kaartje is gemaakt met Bildmalarna's Excited Mimosa in combinatie met het designpapier wat ik bij het vorige kaartje ook heb gebruikt het lag er ten slotte toch al;) Verleden week op de Krea Doe heb ik mij met San heerlijk staan te vergapen aan allemaal lieve Bildmalarna stempeltjes maar was al bijna door mijn budgetje heen dus heb ze terug gelegd. Thuis gekomen toch online een paar besteld, kon het niet laten *zucht* Mimosa is gekleurd met prisma pencils, Stickles en chalk.

Een heel fijn weekend nog!

Goodmorning everyone! Saturday again and time for a new DT By LORi Designs card. X Mas is fast approaching so I've decided to make a further start with my xmas cards ofcourse a little late but hey that's my story can't help myself LOL I took this little santa girl which comes in a Christmas Bundle 4 cute digi stamps for only $5! I colored her with Copic Sketches, took some Stickles Stardust and used patterned paper I bought last week at the Krea Doe.
And see that gorgeous watermark? I got that at my MFT friend, Karen's blog you can find lots of beautiful watermarks at The Sweetest Thing for such a nice price. I {heart} mine with this kinda retro flower *sigh*

Krea Doe 2011

Goedemorgen allemaal! Even bijkomen met een bakkie na een heerlijke shop dag gisteren met San, Car en Diaan oh meiden wat was het gezellig en overweldigend. Al die mensen....poehee! Na een gezellige treinreis met San kwamen we aan in Utrecht en liepen we mee met de stroom knutselmutsies en pikten we Diaan en Car op binnen bij de jassen. Snel naar binnen en go with the flow. We hadden allemaal een lijstje wat afgewerkt moest worden met als grootste wens Het Maja Design Vintage Blokje. Hele beurs afgestruind en in geen velden of wegen nog maar één blokje MD te vinden aaaargh! Gelukkig zijn we uiteindelijk dan toch nog geslaagd voor de 30 x 30 vellen, je mot wat.
Veel nieuws heb ik niet gezien, misschien zijn wel ook wel erg verwend door al de online winkels van over de gehele wereld waar je 24-7 kunt shoppen. Wat mij wat tegenviel wat dat er bijna geen leuke spectaculaire aanbiedingen waren, ik bedoel maar daarvoor kom je toch naar een beurs. En elke scrapstand had hetzelfde assorti, de paar uitzonderingen daargelaten ik noem bijvoorbeeld een Ludiec, Posthumus en een leuk klein (voor mij) nieuw zweeds winkeltje ReprintHobby. Nevertheless we hebben gelachen, gegierd en gebruld en als afsluiting nog een workshop gedaan bij Posthumus.

Is tie niet gaaaf! Een houten kerstboompje bestempeld, okee hier en daar wat schoonheidsfoutjes maar het was dan ook voor het eerst dat ik op hout heb gestempeld LOL Ik vind 'm leuk en lekker glitterig dat mag he met kerst:P

Oh en nog even héél wat anders, hebben jullie gezien dat ik gastblogger ben bij Inge van BlogBlom, gaaf he en oh wat een lieve woorden *trots* Thanks Ing!!!

Bildmalarna, Joy to the world

And another post today, just had some fun making this matchbox for the Challenge on the Bildmalarna Challenge blog and the challenge is called Decorating a Matchbox with ofcourse a Bildmalarna stamped image. I chose Mimosa with Birdhouse and only used the Mimosa image. I wanted to make something XMas and don't have Bildmalarna xmas stamps (yet) so a girl has to be creative and gotta think outside the (match)box :P I had this image for ages and never inked her up... oh the shame. While coloring her I had so much fun, so more Mimosa cards are following for sure!
I colored Mimosa with Prisma Color Pencils and cut her out by hand. I used some Die-namics to embellish the box and crumbled the flowers for a bit more vintage look.

Hi and goodmorning! Today I share you a new card made with a fun By LORi Designs image "Harper" I sharpened up my Prisma Colors and colored Harper and the cute little doll with them. The cute designpaper is from a paperpad I bought last week at Knutsel & Zo and is from 4 Heures 37 called 4 Reu de Pouces Verts. A gorgeous name for a beautiful paperpad filled with design papers! Ofcourse lots of Die-namics again to embellish the card.

November MFT Release, New Product Tour

Jippieee it's finally here....Release Day at My Favorite Things Stamps. Hope you all have had a fab time this past week by visiting our blogs and being inspired with what possibilities there are with all the new stamp sets and Die-namics! We have to show you a lot of creations and a fun blog hop. You can start at Kim's blog to see the list of participating DT members.

My creation is made with Clearly Sentimental about Abundance which was last month's Triple Scoop stamp set. I stamped one of the sentiments on the Clearly Sentimental Label and after that I stamped with a slightly lighter brown PI Chrysanthemum. I just love the effect of this on the label!

My Favorite Things Pre-Release Pep Rally

Hello and goodmorning, today we are having something fun for you...it's November MFT Die Namics Feature and Pre Release Pep Rally day! All the participating My Favorite Things DT members will show you on their blogs fun tips & tricks, things you can do with the new Dies, how they work with the new sets and you will find tutorials/video's on your way hopping. So sit back, take a cup of tea/coffee and enjoy!

Are you ready for some psychedelic '60 colors? Yeah Baby, put on your sunglasses because I've used some DCWV retro papers for my card in combination with the cute á La Modes Disco Queen. Two decades combined with each other;) I took the new Clearly Sentimental Label and cut it out twice with my Big shot (one time blue, one time kraft). The I took the label from the Layered Label Die and put it on the cut out Kraft CS Label, taped it carefully right in the middle and again ran it through the Big Shot. Now you've got a little window. I took Jody's black foam dimensional boosters and taped them behind the Kraft window and glued it on the blue CS Label.

A close up, see what I mean? Cool isn't it? So the story here is, don't be afraid to combine all your Die-namics it's so much fun!!! As an extra background I've used the Pretty Pocket Die and Stampset, perfection in combination with this á La Modes. The swirls and flowers are from the Pretty Pocket Stampset, stamped on cardstock with brown Archival and cut out by hand.

November MFTeasers, Pure Innocence Day!

Hi and happy Monday, it's time for another My Favorite Things Stamps Teaserday.Today we are going to show you samples with lots of new to be released Pure Innocence stamp; Snowboard Boy, Ski Girl, Stocking Girl, Chrysanthemum, Christmas Caroler, Holiday Hugs Snowman, and Precious Little Lamb On a Star. I chose Holiday Hugs Snowman for my card and kept the coloring quite simple. Instead of the snowman I colored a shadow around him for more depth and paperpieced his hat and scarf with MME designpaper. The snowflakes are cut out of cork.

-Inside card-

For the inside I've used to brand new Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics to stamp on the image along with the sentiment and again paperpieced his scarf for some extra detail. Because of the size of this Die-namics it's perfect to also stamp a little detail of an image!

November MFTeasers, á La Modes

Hi and goodmorning, Sunday already and time for another My Favorite Things Stamps Teaserday. Today we are going to show you samples with the two new to be released á La Modes Stamps, Knit Happens and Disco Queen. My card is made with Knit Happens, got to love this sentiment 'cause you can interpretate this in sooo many ways hihi;-) I stamped the á La Modes with Memento on DCP paper and colored her with Copic Sketches. I went way overboard with layers and Die-namics sorry can't help myself! Designpaper I've used is from an October Afternoon paperpapd.

-Inside card-

The flowers and leaves are cut out of felt with the Perfect Petal Trio Die-namics and Big Shot.

As you can see lots of Die-namics sets that went previously together with a stampset are from Nov 1 available separate from their stampset! This is a great opportunity to get those extra dies or when you just want to buy the die alone.

Happy Saturday! It's time for another Saturday card for By LORi Designs. This time I took Ella and combined her with the gorgeous MME designpaper. Kraft and Pink are a fab combination I think! I've used a lots of Die-namics and love how the Woodgrain Fence Die-namics fits so well with Ella. Ella is colored with Copic Sketches and I've highlighted the dots with a white gelpen.
