February MFTeasers, Day Four

Happy Monday, today's day four of the February MFTeasers! Today we are going to show you teasers made with two new sets Inspired by Butterflies and Enjoy Every Moment. My card is made with the Enjoy every moment stamp set. Love how happy this girl looks:) I've combined her with beautiful My Mind's Eye designpaper. And do you see the gorgeous Rosette? It has been made with the Die-namics 1/4"rosette. Very easy to make and the result is FAB. A tutorial bout this Die-namics made by Kim can be found HERE.
For the inside I've used the Stacking Stars Die-namics again, in combination with a sentiment that's in the Enjoy every Moment stamp set.

Q&A
José asked what kind of paper I've used on this card, it's My Mind's Eye designpaper-Lost and Found
Jen asked what kind of Rosette Die-namics I would use most, well if you only make cards I would advise the 1/4"rosette but if you also love to make projects I would advise to take them both. The 3/8"rosette gives bigger folds:)

February MFTeasers, Day Three

Oh my day three already from the My Favorite Things Teasers! Only two nights sleep and the new stamps and Die-namics will be up and ready in the MFT boutique:-D Today the DT is going to show you samples made with the new Pure Innocence stamps, primrose, you're so tweet, butterfly kisses, believe in magic and out on a limb. I have made a cute  gift set, a card and a decorated paperbag. A perfect gift if someone asks cash as a present and you don't want to put it in a simple white envelope:) The idea of the deocrated bag is from Mish Mash/Michelle, she always makes such fun projects! She had decorated the paperbag with doily paper but I wanted to use the Die-namics Decorative Doily die it has the same effect, love that!
I really loves how it turned out *sigh*
For the card I've used Pure Innocence Out on a Limb, isn't she cute with the little bird friend on her head:) The little roses are again homemade with the rolled mini rose Die-namics, they are glued on cut out Felt Hearts a Plenty

February MFTeasers, Day One!

Hi and welcome to day one of the February MFTeaser Time. A new release is coming, jippieee! There are lots of stamps and Die-namics being released next week and today I am going to show you Fred Bear Out West, isn't he the cutest cowboy bear:)I've combined him with the Die-namics Stacking Star Dies these make a fun match with his spurs and his sheriff star.
The paper I've used is from an old Chatterbox line and is no longer available I think. I've put the "Howdy" sentiment in a speech bubble.
For the inside of the card I've stamped the cactus and paperpieced this, also used the Die-namics Stacking Star Dies again.

Friday Sketchers #139, Cupcake!

Happy Friday, it's time for another Friday Sketch! This week it's Jorunn's turn to challenge us with her fun sketch. And our very generous sponsor this week is My Favorite Things, jippieeee! If your card with sketch #139 is the winning creation next week you receive a $25 gift voucher so go ahead girls and make it work;-)
I've used for my card the new Card Art Card Kit... roses all over;-) The little roses you see on the Prima Flowers are handmade. Aren't they FAB!? So simple and easy to make with the Rolled Rose Die-Namics
This Die-namics (and the bigger Rolled Rose Die namics) can save you looots of money now being able to make your own roses in the matching color of you project. How many times have you looked through your stuff not being able to find the matching color roses to fit on your card. (me? many times!) Jody has made a great tutorial about how to roll a perfect little rose.
The little cupcake Pure Innocence girl  is paperpieced with matching designpaper. I've given her shoes some Glossy Accents unfortunately it doesn't show on the photo.
Hop on over to my Friday Sketchers sisters to see what they all  have made with My Favorite Things stamps!

Wish you all a wonderful day,

Wednesday Stamp Club, MFTWSC4

It's Wednesday and time for another great WSC sketch at the MFT Splitcoast Member Companies forum, sketch number 4 already from this year! I've chosen Pure Innocence Carnation for my card, you can use this stamp also to make your own calender because every month there will be a new PI with the calendar month as sentiment in the set, now how cool is that! Use the Template-All Calendar Files 2011 and it will be a piece of cake:)
I've flipped the sketch and made the bow beneath in stead of on the top.
The PI girl is colored with Copics and the designpaper is Basic Grey
Here are the details to fill you in:
"MFT is super excited to announce that Wednesday Stamp Club will now be centered around a weekly sketch. We know your stamping time is precious, and we want you to maintain as much creative freedom as possible.

Sketches are the perfect starting point to a card. Use it as a blueprint, and create a card using the stamp set and supplies that strike your fancy. You can turn to the sketches time and again for creative inspiration.

A new sketch will be posted each Wednesday at midnight on the MFT blog. You'll also find the sketch in the MFT forum on SCS, as well as in the weekly newsletter. Our talented Challenge and Design Teams will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along."

I've used the Layered Label and Dainty Lace Border Die-namics for the inside of the card. On the front I've cut out the Die-namics Dainty Lace Border again together with the Flower Trio and Leaf Trio

MFT DT Creative Challenge: Valentine's!

Goodmorning girls, today I am going to show you a Valentine's project I've made for my two girls for the My Favorite Things Creative Challenge this month. Here's the info from MFT to fill you out "In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy.  Our Design Team Creative Challenge will be a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme or product.  This month, we asked the team to get creative for Valentine's Day.  It's a great occasion to get crafty, and put your supplies to good use.  Are you ready to get some ideas for your Valentine's Day gifts?  Visit Kim's Blog for a full list of participants to see everything from cards to gift ideas and everything between."
I've made a gift wrap for a bar of Milka Daim Chocolate the favorite chocolate of both my girls. Yes, they are a lot like their mum;-) The sentiment was perfect for this valentine's treat, because they do! (well most of the time, if you know what I mean*lol*) I've stamped the PI girl on DCP, colored with Copic Sketches and stamped the girl again on the beautiful SEI desingpaper. Cut the trousers and blouse and glued it all together. I've measured the chocolate bar and made a wrap from white cardstock, cut out Die namics Notebook edge out of SEI designpaper, the beautiful Die-namics Decorative Doily out of Kraft and stamped the heart from the Inspired by Music set on designpaper again and cut it out by hand. All together this makes a fab combination I think! You really should try to combine the Die-namics, they all fit perfect with each other... love that!
The Die-namics Rolled Rose was cut out of My Favorite Felt. In the center of the rose I glued a mini button.
Hope the girlie's will like my little Valentine's gift next month.
Now hop on over to the My Favorite Things Blog to see the list of participants and hop along for looots of great and inspiring Valentine's gifts.
Inge xx
(PS some of the products that I've used are currently out of stock but will be soon back in store!)

Wednesday Stamp Club, MFTWSC1

{This is my second post today, please scroll down a bit for the MFT Bloghop post}

MFT is super excited to announce that Wednesday Stamp Club will now be centered around a weekly sketch.

Now on to my card with this weeks sketch MFTWSC1, made with one of the new Pure Innocence girls, Because you are special. This sketch was a real challenge for me, love that! I've made two scalloped borders on the top and one is popped up with some 3D tape.
Also used the Die-namics Flower Trio and Leaf Trio Duo again, I know it's getting boring but I love the look of those flowers. Because the front of the card is quite over the top with all those bright colors (for me that is *lol) I've kept the inside very simple. Have fun using this weeks sketch, can't wait to see your interpretation!
Love, Inge xx
