MFTWSC129, You're a Star

Hee hallo! Vandaag een kaartje gemaakt met de wekelijkse My Favorite Things Stamps Sketch Challenge nummer 129. Een hele leuke en toegankelijke schets voor iedereen. Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van Echo Park Here and Now designpapier in combinatie met Bazzill Card Shoppe Marshmallow.De cirkel heb ik uitgestanst met Circle STAX 1 Die-namics, de fishtail met mijn geliefde Fisthail Flags STAX Die-namics. Echt, begin je net met kaarten maken en weet je niet welke Die-namics je moet kiezen, begin met de STAX. Je kunt zóveel kanten op met deze basisvormen. De tekst komt van de deze maand Triple Scoop Bold Statements en is gestempeld met MFT Premium Dye Ink Hot Fudge. En natuurlijk weer sequins voor een beetje glitter wat overigens terug komt in het strookje glitterpapier.

MFTWSC91, Birthday Girl

Tijd voor een nieuwe sketch challenge op het My Favorite Things Stamps Splitcoast Forum. Ik heb gekozen voor á La Modes Birthday Girl. Herken je het papier? Het lag nog op mijn bureau van mijn vorige kaartje en ik vind het natuurlijk super passen bij dit verjaardagsmeisje met al die cupcakes op het designpapier. á La Modes is gestempeld op DCP papier en daarna gekleurd met Spectrum Noir Markers. De icing heb ik beStickled voor dat extra glittertje. De leuke border is gemaakt met de Postage Stamp Border Die-namics en ook heb ik de Fishtail flags STAX Die-namics gebruikt, het geschulpte hoekje komt van de Photo Corners Die-namics

De binnenkant heb ik lekker simpel gehouden maar toch geeft het net dat extra stukje finish aan een kaart. Zó zonde als je je best doet op de voorkant en de binnenkant zo leeg is:)

MFTWSC71, For You

Tijd voor een nieuwe sketch challenge op het My Favorite Things Stamps Splitcoast Forum. Ik heb gekozen voor een vrij basic kaartje met Pure Innocence Freckles *cute* Ze is gekleurd met Spectrum Noir Markers en gepaperpieced met het My Mind's Eye papier wat ik ook voor de rest van de kaart gebruikt heb. De blaadjes zijn zo mooi gesneden en geembosd met de Royal Leaves Die-namics je ziet de nerfjes gewoon zitten...prachtig! De teksten  zijn gestempeld met de All Occasion Sentiments, een perfecte set om bijvoorbeeld bij je Pure Innocence stempeltjes te gebruiken

Hoe doe ik mee met de MFT Sketch challenge?

Nou hier gaat ie dan op veler verzoek zal ik in het kort uitleggen hoe je meedoet met de MFT Schets Challenge op Splitcoaststampers.
Elke woensdag word er een nieuwe schets geplaatst op het MFT Blog, je kunt deze schets ook vinden in het My Favorite Things Forum op Splitcoaststampers en de wekelijkse nieuwsbrief. Het Design Team zal jullie inspireren met talloze voorbeelden gemaakt met deze schets. We moedigen jullie aan om mee te doen en jullie kaart te plaatsen,  jullie kaart zal dan meedingen naar de $15 kadobon van de MFT Boutique.  Gewoon de schets volgen, een kaart maken of een andere papieren creatie. Je mag elke stempel en embellishments gebruiken die je wilt. Maar...gebruik je een MFT stempel dan krijg je een bonus van $5 en wordt het een kadobon van $20!!! Elke week word er een code woord gebruikt voor de schets (deze week is dat MFTWSC70, My Favorite Things Weekly Sketch Challenge) Al wat je hoeft te doen is je kaart plaatsen in de gallerij van Splitocaststampers, dat betekent dat je even een ID moet aanmaken op Splitcoast maar dat is zo gedaan. Je hebt dan meteen je eigen gallery. Tegelijk met het plaatsen van je kaart zet je het bijpassende codewoord in de "keyword" box gedurende het upload proces. Dit lijkt ingewikkeld maar als je bezig bent zie je vanzelf hoe het werkt.

Na de deadline word er een winnaar gekozen, randomly, en de winnaar ontvangt dan een kadobon van $15!!!

MFTWSC61, Knit Happens

He hallo en nog een kaartje vandaag! Nu gemaakt met de wekelijkse My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge op Splitcoaststampers. Ik heb dit lieve á La Modes meisje Knit Happens gestempeld op DCP paper en gekleurd met Copic Sketches.  Het designpapier is van Maja Design. Verder heb ik veel Die-namics gebruikt om het geheel te embellishen. Vooral de Sew Nifty Die-namics vond ik hier erg leuk bij passen! Kijk nou dat kleine schaartje en vingerhoedje, schattig!

Voor de binnenkant van de kaart heb ik wederom de Framed Greetings Die-namics gebruikt en wat scraps.

En voor de achterkant kon ik het niet laten de buste van de Sew Nifty Die-namics  nogmaals te gebruiken, nu gebeembossed met een Cuttlebug embossing folder.

MFTWSC47, Happy Holidays

Wow weeks fly by, and so it's time for yet another and new My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch at Splitcoaststampers. Again a fun sketch to make a bunch of Christmas cards. I 've stamped PI Stocking Girl and paperpieced her with desingpaper and colored with Copic Sketches. Her pyama's are popped up with Jody's foam dimensionals. I kept the card quite simple just as the sketch is. Again I made crumbled flowers just like last week:)

MFTWSC46, Joy to the world

And again a xmas card, this time made with My Favorite Things Sketch number 46! The fact I love most about sketches is that you don't have to think about a lay out it's all done for you so perfect to make a bunch of xmas cards at once when you've chosen your papers and stamps. I chose Pure Innocence Christmas Caroler and by paperpiecing you save lots of time with non coloring. I only colored the face, hands and hair with Copics. The bit of shine around the candle is done with chalks.

For the inside of the card I stamped PI on kraft with brown archival and cut her out by hand.

MFTWSC42, Face Time

It's Wednesday and time for another fabulous MFT sketch Challenge on Splitcoaststampers, it's number 42! I've chosen á La Modes I need some face time for my card. She's colored with Copic Sketches.
